A Vision Grown by Faith
Long before the first lavender bloomed, there was simply a vision.The dream of Asher Fields began with a mother who believed this land could become something special. She saw possibility in open fields and quiet skies, and imagined a place where people could gather, rest, and celebrate. That vision was then carried forward by her daughter and son-in-law, a young married couple who chose to leave their established careers in Johannesburg to pursue something completely unfamiliar. Farming, distillation, and event management were not paths they had trained for. Yet they committed to learning everything from the ground up. They studied lavender cultivation, built vegetable tunnels, explored the art of distillation, and shaped the space into a working venue. Step by step, season by season, the farm began to take form.
